Achmad Siddiq Jember</a>, East Java, Indonesia.</p> LP2M IAIN Jember en-US Fenomena 1412-5439 EXAMINING STUDENTS’ AWARENESS AND BEHAVIOR IN DEALING WITH VIRTUAL LEARNING ENVIRONMENT http://fenomena.iain-jember.ac.id/index.php/fenomena/article/view/73 <p>This research entitled<em> “</em><em>Examining Students’ Awareness and Behavior in Dealing with Virtual Learning Environment</em>.<em>”</em>it intended in investigating the students’ awareness and behavior in dealing with virtual learning environment. This research generally answered two questions; what is the students’ awareness in dealing with virtual learning environment and what is the students’ behavior in dealing with the virtual learning environment?</p> <p>This is a survey research. The data was collected through a set of questionnaires spread through Google form using the link through WhatsApp group. There were 186 students participated as the respondents. The data of the responses was presented in bar and pie diagrams and was explained descriptively in order to reveal the students' awareness and behavior comprehensively.</p> <p>The result said that related to the language and instruction of the lecturer in online learning, it seems that most of the students not really understand. More than half (58%) of the respondents neither agree nor disagree. Yet, 62% of the respondents agree that sharing applications (Google Classroom/WhatsApp Group), Virtual online learning (Zoom/Skype/Google meet), and Streaming audio (pre- recorder lecture) are useful tools for learning the online classes. Then about the online platform which are used &nbsp;in virtual learning, 49.5% agreed that Google Classroom or WhatsApp Group are more chosen than Zoom/Skype/Google meet. For all categories, the highest response is about internet connection. Most of the students agreed that internet connection is a problem. It reached 63.8%. About accessing the material, the highest response said that they had time to acces the material and they knew how to access it. While about the students’ behavior, many students agreed that virtual/online learning can improve their confident and self-discipline. But here, the percentage is not more than fifty. It is only 42.7% and 42.2%. Then, about online learning is more enjoyable, 45.9% of them neither agrees nor disagrees, and then followed by disagreement in 27%. The statement about easiness in interactions with classmates and lecturers, the highest percentage is disagree, it reached 38.9% and followed by neither agree nor disagree. Perempuan sebagai subjek pelaksana syariat Islam, hendaknya selalu menjalankan syariat Islam dengan penuh kesadaran dan keyakinan. Penelitian ini membahas bagaimana peran perempuan dalam menerapkan syariat Islam di Kota Banda Aceh. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif. Analisis data menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perempuan Kota Banda Aceh terlibat aktif dalam pelaksanaan syariat Islam, terdapat perbedaan terkait peran perempuan pada implementasi syariat Islam yang melalui berbagai peran, sebagai anak, perempuan terikat dengan hak dan kewajiban anak kepada orang tua; sebagai istri, perempuan terikat dengan hak dan kewajiban isteri kepada suami; sebagai ibu, perempuan terikat dengan hak dan kewajiban sebagai ibu yang menerapakan pendidikan akidah, ibadah, dan akhlak dalam keluarganya; sebagai warga masyarakat, perempuan terikat dengan hak dan kewajibannya dengan lingkungan. Secara keseluruhan tidak terdapat kendala terhadap peran perempuan terhadap pelaksanaan syariat Islam di Kota Banda Aceh.</em></p> <p>Women are held in the same regard as males in Islam, and women are revered as children, spouses, and mothers. As subjects of Islamic law implementation, women always do so with complete understanding and belief. This study discusses the role of women in implementing Islamic law in Banda Aceh City. This study uses a qualitative method. Data analysis used a descriptive approach. The results showed that Banda Aceh City women were actively involved in the implementation of Islamic law; there were differences related to the role of women in the performance of Islamic law through various functions, as children, women monitor the rights and obligations of children to their parents; as a wife, a woman against the rights and obligations of her husband's wife; as mothers, women act with rights and responsibilities as mothers who apply creed, worship, and moral education in their families; as citizens, women with their rights and obligations with the environment. Penentuan subjek penelitian menggunakan teknik purposive. Teknik pengumpulan datanya menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Adapun analisis data dalam skripsi ini melalui tiga langkah yaitu kondensasi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Therefore, it is not surprising that there are many mosque buildings in every corner of the area. The mosque is a symbol and a place for people to carry out an Islamic da'wah to increase faith and perform various worships to get closer to Allah. Artikel ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan manajemen kurikulum integratif di SMA Trensains Tebuireng Jombang serta menganalisisnya perspektif pemikiran Hassan Hanafi</em><em>. </em><em>Artikel ini merupakan library research dan analisis datanya menggunakan teknik analisis isi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepala SMA Trensains Tebuireng Jombang memiliki peran penting dalam fungsi manajemen kurikulum integratif, mulai dari perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan, pemberdayaan, pengawasan, hingga evaluasi. Manajemen kurikulum integratif di SMA Trensains yang disebut dengan Kurikulum Semesta relevan dengan pemikiran Hassan Hanafi. Kurikulum Semesta di lembaga ini sudah dilaksanakan dengan manajemen yang baik dan hasilnya membanggakan, dibuktikan dengan prestasi-prestasi yang diraih dalam banyak perlombaan sains di tingkat nasional. So, it takes a futuristic management curriculum but does not leave the wonderful tradition. Integrative curriculum in education to be one of the ideal solutions in answering the challenge. This article aims to describe the management of an integrative curriculum in Trensains Senior High School Tebuireng Jombang and analyze the perspective of the thought of Hassan Hanafi. This article is library research and data analysis using content analysis techniques. The results showed that the Trensains Senior High School Tebuireng Jombang has a vital role in managing an integrative curriculum, including planning, organizing, implementing, empowerment, monitoring, and evaluation. Management integrative curriculum in Trensains Senior High School called with the curriculum of the universe relevant to the thought of Hassan Hanafi. The curriculum universe in this institution has been carried out with good management. The results are encouraging, evidenced by the achievements in many science races at the national level. Based on these results, it can be concluded that a leader of educational institutions is essential to integrate tradition and modernity to survive. Turats may not be dead, which is only stored in the library. The teachings of the religion should not simply be dogma. Kondisi memberikan dampak besar bagi kehidupan serta perekonomian masyarakat. Selain itu banyak lembaga keuangan yang juga terkena dampak dari pandemi covid-19 salah satunya adalah lembaga asuransi syariah. Lembaga asuransi syariah di kota Kediri yang terdampak dari pandemic ini adalah PT. Asuransi Jiwa Syariah Bumiputera Branch Kediri. Dimasa pandemi covid-19 keluhan yang diterima PT. Asuransi Jiwa Syariah Bumiputera Branch Kediri meningkat dari tahun 2018 dan 2019 terhitung sebanyak 30% nasabah melakukan keluhan, yang di dominasi oleh keluhan mengenai kesulitan pembayaran premi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: Strategi customer service PT. Asuransi Jiwa Syariah Bumiputera Branch Kediri dalam menghadapi keluhan nasabah sebelum dan selama masa pandemic covid-19. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian studi kasus. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan strategi yang digunakan adalah (1) permohonan maaf; (2) empati; (3) kecepatan dalam penanganan keluhan; (4) kewajaran atau keadilan dalam memecahkan masalah dan keluhan (5) memberikan kemudahan bagi konsumen untuk menghubungi perusahaan; (6) adanya sistem jemput bola saat nasabah tidak bisa datang ke kantor karena pandemi covid-19; (7) penggunaan media digital untuk sistem pembayaran premi dan pengajuan klaim; (8) restrukturisasi guna pembayaran premi.</em></p> <p> </p> <p>Indonesian people are currently facing the COVID-19 pandemic. Conditions have a significant impact on people's lives and the economy. In addition, many financial institutions are also affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, one of which is sharia insurance institutions. The sharia insurance institution in the city of Kediri affected by this pandemic is PT. Bumiputera Sharia Life Insurance, Kediri branch. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the complaints were received by PT. Bumiputera Sharia Life Insurance Kediri branch increased from 2018 and 2019, accounting for 30% of customers making a complaint, which was dominated by complaints about difficulties in paying premiums. This study aims to determine: The customer service strategy of PT. Bumiputera Sharia Life Insurance Kediri branch deals with customer complaints before and during the covid-19 pandemic. This research uses a qualitative approach with the type of case study research. Data collection was done by interview, observation, and documentation. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian lapangan (field research) dengan pendekatan filosofis, fenomenologis, dan psikologis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Pendidikan Islam Berkemajuan berdampak baik serta mendukung terbentuknya softskills peserta didik melalui beberapa aspek diantaranya proses pembelajaran, budaya sekolah, dan ekstrakurikuler. Softskills yang terbentuk antara lain religius, disiplin, mandiri, kerjasama, proses berfikir kritis dan kreatif, tanggungjawab, kepemimpinan, memecahkan masalah, kreatif, dan toleransi. Faktor-faktor pendukung dalam pelaksanaan implementasi pendidikan Islam berkemajuan dalam membentuk softskills antara lain kepemimpinan kepala sekolah yang baik, komunikasi dan kerjasama aktif serta semangat dan komitmen tinggi dari seluruh stackeholder sekolah, fasilitas dan sarpras yang memadai, dan kualitas pendidik dan staff karyawan yang mumpuni dalam masing-masing bidang profesi. Faktor-faktor penghambat dalam pelaksanaan implementasi pendidikan Islam berkemajuan dalam membentuk softskills antara lain terbatasnya kuantitas tenaga pendidik dalam pelaksanaan program, peserta didik yang tidak taat tata tertib sekolah, minimnya perhatian dan pengawasan orangtua dengan padat aktivitas, laju perkembangan teknologi dan informasi yang tidak seimbang dengan kemampuan peserta didik dalam menyaring informasi yang positif maupun negatif.</em></p> <p>This study aimed to determine the implementation of Advanced Islamic Education in forming Soft skills at SMP Muhammadiyah Al-Kautsar PK Kartasura and SMP Muhammadiyah Darul Arqom Karanganyar the supporting and inhibiting factors. This research uses a descriptive qualitative research method with field research and psychological approaches. The study results indicate that Advanced Islamic Education has a good impact and supports the formation soft of students through several aspects, including the learning process, school culture, and extracurricular activities. Soft skills formed include religious, disciplined, independent, cooperative, critical, creative thinking processes, responsibility, leadership, problem-solving, creativity, and tolerance. Supporting factors in implementing advanced Islamic education in forming soft skills include good principal leadership, active communication and collaboration, high enthusiasm and commitment from all stakeholders, adequate facilities and infrastructure, and quality educators and staff employees qualified in each professional field. Sebagai organisasi pelajar dibawah Banom NU, IPNU-IPPNU memiliki peran dalam menghadapi permasalahan bangsa, terutama disaat pandemi seperti. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk memberikan kajian tentang kontribusi organisasi pelajar IPNU-IPPNU dalam pendidikan dimasa pandemi covid-19. Penelitian ini termasuk studi kasus dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Objek kajian yaitu peran IPNU dan IPPNU PAC Tlogowungu Kabupaten Pati dalam pendidikan di masa pandemic covid-19 dengan informan ketua IPNU-IPPNU, dan pengurus PAC Tlogowungu serta orang tua dan pelajar. Pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara dan observasi dengan teknik analisis data deskriptif analitik dengan pendekatan dari Miles and Huberman yang terdiri dari reduksi data, data display dan verifikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tantangan terbesar IPNU-IPPNU dalam pendidikan di masa pandemic covid-19 adalah lemahnya akhlak pelajar karena kehilangan sosok guru sebagai teladan selama pembelajaran jarak jauh. Program pendukung pendidikan masa pandemi diantaranya webminar, teras pelajar, student corner, konco sinau, program dakwah melalui media sosial dan membentuk departemen yang khusus dalam dunia pendidikan, yaitu JSP (Jaringan Sekolah dan Pesantren). Keberhasilan program IPNU-IPPNU PAC Tlogowungu didukung dari antusiame kader dan dukungan stakeholder setempat, sedangkan hambatannya keterbatasan dana dan juga fasilitas penunjang kegiatan program kerja, ijin dan juga aturan yang kondisional mengikuti perkembangan kasus covid-19 yang mengakibatkan beberapa program di IPNU-IPPNU tidak dapat berjalan secara optimal.</p> <p>Student organizations can act as one of strengthening the nation's character in the future. The student organizations under the NU Banom, IPNU, and IPPNU are expected to deal with the nation's problems, especially during this pandemic. This study investigates IPNU-IPPNU student organizations' contribution to education during the covid-19 pandemic. This research is a case study research with a qualitative approach. The object of the study was carried out on the role of IPNU and IPPNU PAC Tlogowungu Pati Regency in education during the covid-19 pandemic with informants, namely the leader of IPNU-IPPNU, administrators of PAC Tlogowungu, and also parents and students. Data collection techniques using interview and observation techniques with analytical data use descriptive analysis with Miles and Huberman Model approach, including data reduction, data display, and verification techniques. The results showed that the biggest challenge of IPNU-IPPNU was the weakness of students' morals due to the loss of a teacher as a role model during distance learning. Educational support programs during the pandemic include webinars, student terraces, student corners, Konco Sinau, programs through social media, and forming a special department in the world of education, namely JSP (School Network and Islamic Boarding School). Hal ini yang menunjukkan banyaknya reaksi masyarakat yang berbeda-beda tergantung pada budaya yang tercipta di wilayah daerahnya masing-masing yang berdasarkan pola kebijakan yang ditempuh pemerintah daerahnya.</p> <p>Berdasarkan hasil korelasi pearson menunjukkan bahwa Gaya Kepemimpinan memiliki hubungan cukup kuat dengan persepsi mahasiswa, yang ditunjukkan dengan angka 0.580. Dan Gaya kepemimpinan memiliki hubungan yang lemah dengan sosial dan ekonomi, yang ditunjukkan angka 0.354. Sedangkan untuk persepsi mahasiswa memiliki hubungan yang cukup kuat dengan sosial dan ekonomi, yang ditunjukkan dengan angka 0.541. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa gaya kepemimpinan memiliki hubungan yang cukup kuat bila melalui persepsi mahasiswa. Hal ini bisa disebabkan oleh faktor-faktor sebagai berikut :1). Mahasiswa lebih mengenal karakter pimpinan daerah, 2). Media Sosial aktif di lakukan oleh mahasiswa, sehingga pengetahuan tentang tindakan, prilaku, dan kebijakan kepala daerah dapat diketahui oleh mahasiswa, 3). Banyaknya kepala daerah di wilayah Jawa Timur yang aktif di media sosial dalam memberikan berbagai informasi, 4). Penelitian ini menunjukkan hasil yang tidak berbeda jauh dengan peneliti-peneliti sebelumnya, bahwa gaya kepemimpinan seorang kepala daerah menurut persepsi mahasiswa cukup berperan dalam menunjang keadaan sosial dan ekonomi pada daerah atau wilayah yang dipimpinnya</p> <p>The problem that arises is the readiness of local governments to respond to every central government policy with different reactions, and there is no synchronization in each policy between local governments. This shows that many different public responses depend on the culture created in their respective regions based on the pattern of policies adopted by the regional government. Based on the results of the Pearson correlation, it shows that Leadership Style has a reasonably strong relationship with student perceptions, which is indicated by the number 0.580. And leadership style has a weak relationship with social and economic, characterized by the number 0.354. Meanwhile, students' perception has a reasonably strong connection with social and economic, indicated by the number 0.541. These results indicate that leadership style has a sufficiently strong relationship through student perceptions. This can be caused by the following factors: 1). Students are more familiar with the character of regional leaders, 2). Students actively carry out social media so that knowledge about regional heads' actions, behavior, and policies can be known by students, 3). The number of regional leaders in the East Java region who are active on social media provides various information, 4). The East Java region is in good condition socially and economically, when viewed from the Human Development Index, 5). Many central government programs are well channeled, BLT, Pre-Employment Cards, PKM, KIP, and other regional assistance programs. This study shows results that are not much different from previous researchers. Kurikulum memegang kedudukan kunci dalam pendidikan, sebab berkaitan dengan penentuan arah, isi dan proses pendidikan, yang pada akhirnya menentukan mutu lulusan suatu lembaga pendidikan. Mutu pendidikan menjadi harapan bagi semua pihak yang terlibat dalam dunia pendidikan. Setidaknya ada 2 hal yang menjadi alasan mengapa mutu pendidikan itu menjadi penting bagi masyarakat. <em>Pertama,</em> aspek persaingan. Persaingan terjadi baik antar lembaga pendidikan maupun dalam dunia kerja. Pada Era Industri 4.0 calon tenaga kerja harus dibekali dengan pendidikan yang bermutu dan keterampilan menggunakan Informasi Teknologi (IT) untuk mendapatkan pekerjaan yang lebih baik.<em> Kedua</em>, munculnya kebebasan dan otonomi bagi institusi pendidikan yang mengharuskan pentingnya mutu di setiap jenis, jalur, dan jenjang pendidikan. Semua orang berkepentingan dengan kurikulum khususnya para pengelola pendidikan, sebab kita sebagai orang tua, sebagai warga masyarakat, sebagai pemimpin formal ataupun informal selalu mengharapkan tumbuh dan berkembang peserta didik, pemuda, dan generasi muda yang lebih baik, lebih cerdas, berkemampuan tinggi, dan sukses. Kurikulum memiliki andil yang cukup besar dalam melahirkan harapan tersebut. Untuk itu kurikulum harus selalu di evaluasi setiap tahun hasilnya digunakan sebagai analisis kebijakan pengembangan kurikulum yang sesuai dengan perubahan zaman, pengembangan IPTEK, tuntutan kebutuhan peserta didik, dan tuntutan kebutuhan masyarakat sebagai pengguna lulusan.</p> <p>This article aims to determine the results of policy analysis of the curriculum development of the Islamic Education Management Program (MPI), Faculty of Tarbiyah and Educational Sciences (FTIK), UIN Kiai Haji Achmad Siddiq Jember in preparing quality graduates in the Industrial Revolution 4.0. The curriculum holds a key position in education because it is related to the direction, content, and educational process, which ultimately determines the quality of graduates of an educational institution. The quality of education is hope for all parties involved in education. There are at least 2 things that are why the quality of education is essential for the community. <em>First</em> is the competitive aspect. Competition occurs both between educational institutions and in the world of work. In the era of industry 4.0, prospective workers must be provided with quality education and skills to use information technology (IT) to get a better job. <em>Second</em>, the emergence of freedom and autonomy for educational institutions requires the importance of quality in every type, path, and level of education. Everyone is interested in the curriculum, especially the managers of education, because we as parents, as citizens, as formal or informal leaders always expect to grow and develop students, youth, and the younger generation are better, more intelligent, highly capable, and successful. The curriculum has a considerable share in the birth of these expectations. SD NU Insan Cendekia Kediri melalui pola manajerial kepala sekolahnya telah terbukti mampu mengembangkan lembaga yang profesional serta mampu menumbuhkan rasa public trust pada masyarakat sekitar sehingga nilai kontribusinya semakin dirasakan oleh masyarakat. Maka penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: Usaha yang dilakukan Kepala SD NU dalam menerapkan manajemen mutu lembaga; Usaha yang dilakukan Kepala SD NU sebagai inovator di lembaga; serta Faktor yang menjadi pendukung dan penghambat. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif-deskriptif dan pendekatan fenomenologis-naturalistik. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Data dianalisis dengan cara mereduksi, display, mengambil kesimpulan dan verifikasi data. Hasil penelitian ini adalah kemampuan manajerial kepala sekolah dalam proses transformasi lembaga pendidikan Islam di bawah naungan NU ke arah pengembangan lembaga yang profesional mampu menumbuhkan rasa public trust pada masyarakat sekitar. Untuk mewujudkan lembaga pendidikan Islam profesional kepala sekolah menerapkan manajemen mutu dengan cara mengelola lembaga pendidikan secara transparans dan amanah, melakukan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi pendidikan sesuai visi lembaga agar terwujud sekolah yang berkualitas unggul. Kepala sekolah melakukan inovasi dengan mengadakan program unggulan serta menerapkan kurikulum yang Islami agar dapat menjadi sekolah rujukan bagi sekolah lainnya serta melakukan kerjasama dengan berbagai pihak dan instansi-instansi lainnya guna mendukung inovasi yang dilakukan. Namun dalam mewujudkan lembaga pendidikan Islam profesional tidak bisa lepas dari adanya faktor pendukung dan penghambat, faktor pendukungnya adalah guru memiliki dedikasi yang tinggi; antara orang tua wali siswa, guru dan tenaga kependidikan memiliki semangat kebersamaan dan tanggung jawab yang sangat tinggi dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan. Sedangkan faktor penghambatnya adalah anggaran yang masih terbatas atau belum memadai untuk mewujudkan sarana dan prasarana yang representatif sebagai fasilitas kegiatan belajar mengajar.</em></p> <p>Transformation towards professional Islamic educational institutions is the key to achieving the predicate of an excellent and competitive educational institution. SD NU Insan Cendekia Kediri, through the principal's organizational pattern, has been proven to develop professional institutions and grow a sense of public trust in the surrounding community so that the community increasingly feels the value of their contributions. So, this study aims to find out: The efforts made by the Head of SD NU in implementing institutional quality management, the Efforts made by the Head of SD NU as an innovator in the institution, and the supporting and inhibiting factors. This research uses the qualitative descriptive method and phenomenological-naturalistic approach. Data collection was done by interview, observation, and documentation methods. Data were analyzed by reducing, displaying, drawing conclusions, and verifying data. The result of this study is the managerial ability of school principals in transforming Islamic educational institutions under the auspices of NU into the development of professional institutions capable of fostering a sense of public trust in the surrounding community. To realize a professional Islamic educational institution, principals implement quality management by managing institutions transparent and trustworthy, planning, implementing, and evaluating education according to the institution's vision to realize excellent quality schools. The principal innovates by holding special programs, implementing an Islamic curriculum to become a reference school for other schools, and collaborating with various parties and other agencies to support the innovations. However, in realizing a professional Islamic educational institution cannot be separated from the supporting and inhibiting factors, the supportive factors are teachers who have high dedication; between parents and guardians of students, teachers and education staff have a very high spirit of togetherness and responsibility in improving the quality of education.
